The recent signing of the HR2454 - Cap and Trade by Congressman Baron Hill was the straw that broke the camel's back. He has violated his duty to the people of Indiana's 9th district and has lost our trust. Please join me in signing this petition to give Congressman Hill the following ultimatum. 1. Resign as the Indiana 9th district congressman immediately by order of the people whom you represent. or 2. Introduce legislation no later than 15 July 2009 that would: A) Repeal the Cap and trade legislation recently passed by the house B) Repeal any stimulus and Tarp legislation passed by the house with no further spending of any stimulus funds C) Reduce congressional pay by 25% to show your committment to help balance the budget D) Outlaw the government takover of any private company or organization E) Put an immediate freeze on any non-urgent government spending until the budget is balanced F) Repeal any kind of tax increase or new tax that has gone into effect in the last 5 years G) Lower the corporate tax rate to 25% Congressman Hill you say that you are a Blue Dog Democrat that advocates fiscal responsibility. We say prove it or resign. If you choose not to follow one of the above steps, know that in 2010 you will be unemployed and no business in the 9th district is going to give you a job.
