Petition For The Release Of Neneh Cherry\'s Shelved Music
Neneh Cherry is a world-renowned recording artist that recently released a collection of tracks with her band cirKus through her own independent label Tent Music. Over eight years ago Neneh Cherry and her collaborative team finished production on an album of new material that was never released. This is a petition to Virgin Records, Hut, and any others that may have control over the non disclosed recordings of international singer/songwriter Neneh Cherry, asking that effective immediately, all tracks be released in their original form. As music consumers, we respectfully ask for the release of this collection of tracks at the earliest possible opportunity via digital download service. Since Neneh\'s last major release Man in 1996, many fans who supported Neneh over the years as well as many new comers have been attempting to locate the content of the shelved recordings. The actions in question consist of the tracks produced with Tricky Kid in 1995 and 1996, the material recorded with a variety of producers and singers titled Mondays, Sweet Little Angel Of Insanity, Crusty Mornings, Agony Of Two, Subtitle, Never Too Late, Stingy, Break, Mother Of Invention, Phat, I Don\'t Want To Do It Like, This Gone Away Now, Ooh Child, Sugar, Painkiller, There Is with Carl Cox, Second Amendment with United State and Reborn with Tommy Evans. Those who are in charge of these undisclosed tracks seem to have a lack of faith in Neneh Cherry as a mainstream recording artist in that they feel the public will not buy a Neneh\'s music. In fact, the opposite is true. Many Neneh fans clamor and pine for a release that would consist of original unreleased versions of songs, as it would be consistent and in keeping with the innovative work she\'s actually created during the last decade. This petition will be sent to Virgin Records - the last official home of Neneh\'s corporate career, and will of course be signed by all of us dissatisfied fans in the hopes that our voices will be heard and this music will be made available for public consumption. We shall close this petition with a quote from Neneh Cherry herself, \"I ain\'t gone under yet\" Thanks for considering our petition! Sincerely, Mia Marshall, Adam Dlugozima, Neneh Cherry\'s fans community
