PETITION OF SUPPORT 4301 Chestnut Street ZONING BOARD CALENDAR NO. 15624 To the Honorable Chair and Members of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the City of Philadelphia: We are affected neighbors and business owners/operators of the Spruce Hill Community. We support the application to use the space currently occupied by two Regulated Uses (Risque Adult video store and check cashing agency) for a State-operated, PaLCB Wine & Spirits Store (State Liquor Store) within this existing shopping center. We welcome this Store, as this area is underserved with a quality store. It will provide a well-needed amenity to our neighborhood, and is a better location than the former Store location at 41st & Market Streets. This Store, AT THIS LOCATION, will have NO adverse impacts upon us. We believe that the combination of the state-run store security, coupled with the additional oversight security provided by a contract with the University City District, will adequately protect our interests. Therefore, we ask that the Board grant requested variances to approve this Application.
