After being elected to Chair of the DuPage County Board, Senator Dan Cronin will vacate the State Senate seat he now holds.

As Chair of the DuPage County Republicans, Senator Cronin also has the most influential vote in determining who gets appointed to this seat. This does not mean, however, that the public should not have a voice.

Rafael Rivadeneira, a long-time champion of cutting waste and lowering taxes, has put his name forward and found support among many organizations and voters.
