We, the petition signers, want a complete ban on conibear, snares, and leghold traps in the State of Michigan. Studies have shown there are many humane methods of trapping. Baited inhumane traps catch only about 10% of theirintended target. They can suffer a slow and agonizing death. This is a medieval practice with no place in todays intelligent society.
