BLUE WATER, WHITE DEATH is a film that has, unfortunately, slipped away into the dark corners of film history. Many films become lost, and it seems that this one may very well be on its way out too. Historically, BLUE WATER, WHITE DEATH is important for its first ever 35mm footage of the Great White Shark, however it has never once been officially released on video anywhere in the world. Hopefully this petition will start a movement into the direction of a video release. Trivia - Peter Benchley used this movie as a main research source when he wrote JAWS.
