The legislative committee has officially approved the amendment to restrict eminent domain abuse. This success reflects the collective dedication of everyone who demanded better protections for our property rights. We will remain vigilant to ensure these new standards are applied faithfully in every jurisdiction.

The American dream - work hard, be persistent, purchase your home and it will be yours. . . NOT! Under current eminent domain laws, we ALL run the risk of having our homes/property taken by our government for no discernable reason. All over America, the government is using vague eminent domain laws to condemn private property for reasons that in no way affect the "public good", paying the owners about half the property's value and using tax-payers dollars to do it! Our fore-fathers addressed eminent domain in our constitution and our government today is abusing their power and OUR tax dollars to take the hard-earned property of American citizens on a whim. The only way to stop this injustice is to petition our government officials to change these laws and place tighter restrictions on the government in order to protect the citizens of the United States and what is rightfully theirs.

The momentum behind this initiative continues to grow as more individuals recognize the urgent need to protect private property rights. It is clear that the current misuse of eminent domain resonates deeply with those who believe in the sanctity of home ownership.

My grandparents worked for 40 years to pay off their house just for the city to try and tear it down for a mall that never even got built. total garbage.
