It was recently announced that the founders of the Mysteria Film Group, a project aiming to get a Myst movie made, had left the project. This was first announced by new project lead Isaac Testerman here (page removed) and later confirmed by Adrian Vanderbosch here (page also removed).
Much is under debate regarding the events of the Mysteria Film Group's transition of ownership from Patrick and Adrian to Isaac, but one thing is undebatable - Patrick A. McIntire and Adrian Vanderbosch dedicated years of their lives, full time, to bringing Myst to the screen. It was their drive and commitment which got this project off the ground, and they deserve both credit and financial compensation for their efforts.
I think it's only fair that Cyan Worlds and Isaac ensure that Patrick and Adrian receive Executive Producer credits and at least some form of profit share. Adrian suggests Cyan World's feel this movie is their best way forward, but many fans have already expressed their disappointment at this situation - I think that whatever way Cyan have of going forward, it's with their fans at their side, and they can only do that if this situation is resolved to everyone's benefit.
Update 25th July: Both pages have been removed - I'm trying to work out the full story and how to proceed.
