IMPORTANT UPDATE:

THE PETITION IS NOW CLOSED BUT WILL BE UPDATED ONCE A DECISION HAS BEEN MADE BY OFCOM REGARDING OUR COMPLAINTS. THIS INFORMATION ONCE RECEIVED (ESTIMATED TO BE BETWEEN 4-7 WEEKS) WILL ALSO BE SENT TO ALL SIGNATORIES BY EMAIL. IF YOU HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED YOUR COMPLAINT TEMPLATE PLEASE CONTACT US AT petitionbigbrother@gmail.com AS ALL EMAILS HAVE BEEN SENT AND IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT THIS WILL BE DUE TO EITHER AN INCORRECT EMAIL ADDRESS SUBMITTED OR A POSSIBLE SERVER ERROR. MANY THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT!

The petition has been submitted to OFCOM and Channel 5 on the 20th August 2014. However, I have been informed that this will only count as one complaint! Although this makes a strong case for this individual complaint submitted; it is not good enough.

Therefore each of you will receive an email within the next 48hrs with a standardised email complaint and the details of where to forward this email onto. All you will need to do is add your name and contact details to the email before forwarding it on to OFCOM and Channel 5.

Channel 5 have said that the usual response time to complaints is between 5-7 days, however, since Big Brother ended on Friday the 15th August '14, the response time to complaints has been extended up to some 4-5 weeks! This clearly shows the level of discontent and the high number of complaints they are receiving regarding this matter.

You can check the number of complaints OFCOM is receiving here (updated weekly): http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/enforcement/audience-complaints/
Lets significantly increase this number by each completing your complaint email template.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR YOUR COMPLAINT TEMPLATE EMAIL FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING EMAIL ADDRESSES petitionbigbrother@gmail.com, petitionbigbrother1@gmail.com, petitionbigbrother2@gmail.com, petitionbigbrother3@gmail.com AND REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR JUNK INBOX! ALL EMAILS WILL BE SENT WITHIN THE NEXT 48 HOURS OR FROM 48 HOURS OF YOU SIGNING THE PETITION IF JUST DOING SO NOW.

If you have any questions or queries, or if you have not received a complaint template email within the stated time, please email us directly at petitionbigbrother@gmail.com. A small number of emails have been returned to us so there are a few folks that must have made an error when writing their email and signing the petition. Contact us ASAP on the email above if you have not received your template.

IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SIGNED THE PETITION BUT ARE VISITING THIS PAGE TO DO SO; PLEASE GO AHEAD AND SIGN AND YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE THE STANDARDISED COMPLAINT EMAIL WITHIN 48 HOURS OF SIGNING. WE MAY HAVE REACHED OUR TARGET BUT WE ARE STILL COLLECTING AND FORWARDING THEM TO CH5 & OFCOM.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!

Helen Wood took the title of Winner of Big Brother UK 2014. Following a warning about her aggressive behaviour towards her fellow housemates, Miss Wood continued to act in a manner which could be perceived as lacking in basic civility and her pass to the final was not revoked despite pressure from the voting public. She left the house to heckles from the crowd, desperate to show their displeasure at her taking the title.

There have been a number of concerns raised around the voting practices on the winning night; including the claim that many were unable to connect to their chosen housemates vote line. We demand an independent and impartial investigation into potential unethical practices that may have been employed.

We also demand an impartial and independent investigation into the relationship between the Northern & Shell group, Richard Desmond, Channel 5 and the Big Brother UK brand; to reveal any self-serving interests that may have influenced the outcome of Big Brother UK 2014.

To raise our complaint this petition will be forwarded to OFCOM and Channel 5.

Should such hostile behaviour be cheered onto victory? You decide...?
