Deny Ahmadinejad the visa to attend the upcoming UN General Assembly in New York! The Islamic Republic regime has ruled Iran for over 30 years. During this period hundreds of thousands of human lives have perished. A country has been ruined and a region totally destabilized. Many around the world have suffered from the consequences of State sponsored terrorism and above all, the world has been witnessing that this regime does not represent the Iranian people and hence, can not be regarded as legitimate. At the same time, the Islamic regime in Iran and its supporters abroad are trying to emerge from the current crisis and seek international recognition and legitimacy for the rulers of the Islamic Republic. On the verge of the upcoming United Nations General Assembly in September, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is reportedly planning to visit New York to attend the next UN General Assembly. The Iranian community worldwide firmly believes that: 1- President Obama and his administration should decisively side with the people of Iran and deny Ahmadinejad (or any other Islamic Republic delegations for that matter) the right to obtain an entry visa to the United States for the purpose of “representing” the Iranian nation during the 64th United Nations General Assembly on September 15, 2009. 2- Neither Ahmadinejad nor any of the members of his cabinet have any legitimacy to be recognized as the president or be regarded as the representatives of the Iranian nation. 3- This is the least the civilized world can do for the Iranian people during these decisive times. Such decision taken by the United States and President Obama will bear an enormous impact on the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy in Iran and the prevalence of peace worldwide. Sincerely The Undersigned برای احمدی نژاد بخاطر شرکت در اجلاس عمومی سازمان ملل روادید صادر نکنید! بیش از 30 سال از حاکمیت نظام جمهوری اسلامی میگذرد. در طی این دوران صدها هزار ایرانی جان خود را از دست داده اند. کشورمان به ورطۀ نابودی کشانده شده و منطقۀ خاورمیانه بخاطر وجود این رژیم در معرض بی ثباتی کامل قرار گرفته است. امروز جهان شاهد بی اعتباری این رژیم در نزد مردمان خود میباشد. دیگر این رژیم در میان ایرانیان از هیچگونه اعتبار و مشروعیتی برخوردار نیست. در این میان اما، رژیم جمهوری اسلامی و ایادی آن در خارج از کشور می خواهند برای خود اعتبار و آبرو ایجاد کنند. بنا بر گزارشات رسیده، محمود احمدی نژاد در آستانۀ شصت و چهارمین اجلاس عمومی سازمان ملل در نیویورک، یکبار دیگر سودای سخن پراکنی از تریبون این سازمان را در سر میپروراند. جامعۀ ایرانیان در سراسر گیتی بر این باور است که: 1- پرزیدنت اوباما و دولت وی میبایستی درکنار ملّت ایران قرار بگیرد و احمدی نژاد و همراهان وی را از اخذ روادید برای ورود به ایالات متحده و از شرکت ایشان در این اجلاس که از روز 15 سپتامبر 2009 در نیویورک آغاز میشود، محروم کند. 2- محمود احمدی نژاد و کابینۀ او هیچگونه حقّانیت و مشروعیتی بعنوان رئیس جمهور و یا نماینده مردم ایران را در نزد ایرانیان ندارد. 3- در این لحظات سرنوشت ساز، برسمیت نشناختن احمدی نژاد بعنوان رئیس جمهور و یا نمایندۀ مردم ایران کمترین کمکی است که جامعۀ متمدن جهانی میتواند در قبال ایرانیان در رسیدن به اهداف آزادیخواهانۀ ملّت ایران انجام دهد. اتخاذ چنین تصمیمی از جانب ایالات متحدۀ و شخص پرزیدنت اوباما میتواند نقش بسزائی در جنبش آزادیخواهانه و دمکراسی طلبانۀ مردم ایران از یکطرف و پایداری صلح جهانی از طرف دیگر ایفا کند. با احترام امضاء کنندگان زیر
