As of March 19th 2012, Niagara University chose to no longer support Women's Ice Hockey as a varsity sport. Their reasoning is to fund a new track and field team instead. NUWIH is the only program in history to have made it to the NCAA final four in any sport at Niagara University by earning a bid to the 2002 Frozen Four. Please show your support for all the dedicated fans, athletes and coaches this program has produced.
