The online multiplayer in most Nintendo 3DS and Wii U games is region-free, which means you can play with anybody in the world. However, some games have region-locked multiplayer, which means if you want to play with someone, they have to be from a certain region of Earth. In Fantasy Life, the online mode is region-locked so that people with the Japanese version of the game cannot play with people with any other region's version of the game. This petition is to send to Nintendo / Level-5 to get them to take down the region-lock by releasing a software update.
