Dear Bishop Zurek,

Please do not take Father Frank Pavone out of the pro-life fight. He is urgently needed as the full-time national director of Priests for Life.

Saving babies from abortion is his priestly vocation. And Fr. Frank is beloved and well-respected around the country and around the world -- by Catholics and Evangelicals alike.

If Fr. Frank is giving "too much" time and energy to his pro-life work, then we should have more priests like Fr. Frank -- not fewer.

I pray that you will amicably resolve your differences with Fr. Frank and, for the sake of the unborn, let him return to his full-time pro-life ministry without any damage to his reputation.
