Do we really need to keep animals suffering for our amusement and entertainment in cages?

Animals everyday are stuck in rooms and area a fraction of the size of the land they would normally live in, in the wild. They suffer from depression and Zoochosis, and are separated from their families and packs for breeding.

Can't we show empathy and compassion to the animals we say we love?
