On Jamendo, thousands of independent artists have chosen to share their albums for free and receive remuneration for the commercial use of their music. Jamendo submitted amendments to the directive project about collective rights management in Europe, in order to allow actors other than the collective rights societies to manage artists rights. The directive project about collective rights management in Europe should be adopted shortly by the European Parliament, but we need your help to make sure our amendments are included!

En Jamendo, miles de artistas independientes eligieron compartir sus álbumes libremente y percibir ingresos gracias al uso comercial de su música. Jamendo sometió enmiendas al proyectos de directiva europea sobre la gestión colectiva de los derechos de autores, para que estas sociedades ya no tengan la exclusividad sobre la gestión de los derechos de los artistas. Este proyecto debería ser adoptado por el Parlamento Europeo, pero ¡necesitamos tu apoyo para que estas enmiendas sean definitivamente incluidas!

Dieser Entwurf sollte vom Europäischen Parlament verabschiedet werden, aber wir brauchen Eure Hilfe, damit die Änderungen auch wirklich übernommen werden!

Jamendo przedstawił propozycje zmian przed Komisją Europejską związane z prawami autorskimi. Chodzi oto aby ograniczyć władzę stowarzyszeń pobierających opłat w imieniu artystów. Please fix this. We need to actually support the people making the music not just the middle men.
About time we let other platforms handle the rights. The old way is broken.

The EU needs to get with the times. So many artists are getting screwed over by these outdated rules.

Independent artists need a fair shake. Sick of the big societies taking everything.
