Pledge support to stop dolphin slaughters in Japan
The Marine Connection call on you to help us stop the needless slaughter and suffering of hundreds of dolphins in Japan. Every year in Japan the annual drive hunt season, which runs from 1 October to 30 March, sees the slaughter of over 20,000 dolphins, porpoises and small whales. During this time, Japanese fishermen are responsible for the killing of the largest number of dolphins anywhere in the world, the animals die in agony, their throats cut until they bleed to death. These hunts are sustained by continued demand by marine parks which pay large amounts of money for live dolphins to re-stock their facilities. Please help us stop these drive hunts NOW by signing this petition, THANK YOU FOR SPEAKING OUT TO SAVE THE DOLPHINS ! Further information on these kills is available via our website http://www.marineconnection.org
