Jobbridge- Taking advantage of the unemployed

The Jobbridge scheme although useful for actual internships of real value which can provide experience of real value to graduates, employers are advertising no experience required positions and the scheme is being taken advantage of by some employers. Positions such as waiter and waitress/gardener/general operative/labourer etc are not internships of value. They are JOBS of value to the people of Ireland. JOBS which are badly needed. JOBS which companies would be offering are now being offered as internships for cheap labour. What can be advertised as an Internship needs to be defined properly so as employers will not take advantage of the scheme. Common sense on the matter from Government would really help the scheme. Please sign the petition so as the government gets the message loud and clear. No party affiliation, just people of Ireland together.
