Brian Murphy, Director of PWT, knew he risked going to jail when he got a business license, and opened a marijuana cooperative. He is strong and prepared for this. He is concerned with the many Maui Medical Marijuana patients that are NOT getting the medicine that can relieve their suffering due to Hawai'i's marijuana laws. The prejudice and hypocrisy is heartbreaking.
His health has drastically declined in the 17 days he has been incarcerated. Brian has lost 10 pounds,his eyes are sunken and black underneath, and his emotions are under attack due to the psychotropic drug hi is forced to take. Brain is a disabled veteran and he is being denied the medications prescribed by his VADoctor. The guards told him that if he does not take the intolerable psychotropic drug that he can not have visitors, sounds like black mail to me.
