This petition is to show support for Josie Pasane to remain in the UK after a decision has been made to turn down Josie\'s application for permanent residency due to misleading advice by the government.
As a result of this incorrect advice given from a home office official she now faces the prospect of deportation to South Africa
which will mean the family unit that is has been here in the UK for the last 7 years legally be forced apart, if it is decided to deport Josie.
This issue has arisen due to the fact that when Josie arrived in the UK she was a dependent on her mother and now she is now financially independent from her mother, paying taxes and intergrating well within society.
Please pass this on to as many people as you can!
We aim to get this to the Prime Minister as soon as possible - please let\'s collect 1000 signatures over the next 48 hours and collect another 1000 every 48 hours there after.
They have to listen!
The Home Office is banking on us giving up but we are almost at one hundred signatures. Blast this link everywhere right now so those bureaucrats see that we will not let them tear this family apart.

Absolute joke. The Home Office always messes up then punishes the innocent person. Let her stay.

This is just wrong. She has been here 7 years and is working and paying taxes. Leave her alone.

Common sense needs to prevail here. She belongs in the UK.

She has done everything right. Why punish her for their bad advice? Fix this!

The Home Office backed down and Josie is staying. They tried to tear a family apart with their incompetence but we forced them to fix their mess.
