***PETITION RESULTS FORWARDED TO IOC*** A hard copy of the petition has been shipped priority overnight to Jacques Rogge, President of the IOC as of 7 December 2009. After removing duplicates, the petition contained 4408 unique signers from over 55 countries. Thanks to everyone who signed!!! ***PETITION RESULTS FORWARDED TO IOC*** Discussions are currently taking place between the UCI Management Committee and the IOC to finalize the changes in the track cycling program for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The purpose of the discussions is to have an equal number of events for men and women. The current proposals include the elimination of the individual pursuit competition for both men and women. The purpose of this petition is to show the IOC, the UCI, and the London Organizing Committee that there is continued public support for retaining the Individual Pursuit as part of the Olympic track cycling program. This petition hosting site asks for a donation. It is totally voluntary and is not required for signing the petition. When completing the petition, please enter both a first and last name. After signing the petition, please pass along the link to this website to your friends and fellow cyclists. I do appreciate everyone signing but please do not sign multiple times. I do review the petition and remove duplicates. Thanks for your support!
