Fighting Sioux for the Future!
The University of North Dakota has the very proud nickname of the Fighting Sioux. To their alumni and students this name instills honor and pride. In this overly sensitive, PC world we are living in, a vocal minority is trying to abolish the prestigious name of the Fighting Sioux. This name was chosen to represent the largest university in the state of North Dakota, a state named after the Dakota Sioux tribe. This name honors and preserves the memory of the indigenous people of the great state of North Dakota and is only fitting that they are the beloved symbol of the school. Please take the time to sign this petition that will be submitted to the Sioux Tribes of ND, the ND board of higher education and the University to show the overwhelming support and pride that is in the Fighting Sioux culture, which spreads throughout all 50 states. We LOVE the FIGHTING SIOUX so lets show it! Please pray for Jennifer Job-Massa (sig #349) and her family she has recently passed away.
