Last.fm launched the Beta version of their site today, and the last.fm userbase almost unanimously agree that it is terrible, as many features are missing, images don't load, scrobbles have been deleted, and the site is incredibly slow. We understand that new features will be implemented in the coming weeks but as a whole we are generally dissatisfied with it. Please change the website design back, last.fm.

Almost ALL is worse than before. Design is very terrible, interface is veery awkward and inconvenient. They even cutted some of the main functions of LastFM - Similiar Artists and Recomendations, there are really few of them now, and they look worse.
Please do not officially release unfinished versions of your website. Spotify received tons of flak for that with their client and I'm incredibly disgruntled with the new Lastfm for having many features unavailable and being overall unsatisfying to navigate.
Last.fm is primarily for data and statistics. Keep it simple and efficient. The new layout is just big and clumsy, with little to no focus on stats. Totally uncalled for. I really don't see the use of the site as it is with this weird beta.
What I liked most about the old layout is being able to see a list of similar tracks related to a certain track. Through that I was able to find tons of songs that I liked. With the new layout, it took that away and now only shows 4 similar tracks. :c
The new site really is a step backwards, and going live with something that lacks so many features and basic functionality is inexcusable. It's also depressing how mountains of negative feedback and ways to improve this new site seem to have fallen on deaf ears.
This redesign keeps me frustrated almost a decade after. Worst decision made.

Used Last.fm regularly for 7 years to keep track of my listening habits. This new "lite" design is garbage. It may well look better on mobile devices, but I don't use my phone to browse last.fm, I use it as a telephone. RIP last.fm
