Petrol Prices should be lowered and not made higher! Over the past years petrol prices just keep getting higher and higher. I am sending this email to you to convince you to lower the petrol prices or to give our parents and everyone else something cheaper that they can put in their car so they can drive to work to earn money for themselves and their children. Firstly, even I can remember when petrol easily cost under $1 / litre and now its nearly $2! E10 petrol was invented to keep your car moving and it was meant to be healthy for the environment. Also this petrol was meant to be cheap and it was until now. E10 petrol used to cost about $1.10 or less and now its up to $1.30 or more ! How much more do you want us to pay! The Government earns enough money now that they are rising the electricity prices. If they're going to rise electricity prices, then they should make petrol prices lower and have some respect for everyone else in Australia. My parents and teachers are always complaining about how much petrol costs and if I could drive or if I were older I would DEFINATELY be joining them! As a child even I think that the prices are just STUPID! Kids shouldn't have to have both their parents at work earning money just to pay the bills for petrol, fuel and other expenses. The parents should be at home with their children having fun instead of paying big bills and working hard. Lastly, parents may find it hard to pay for schooling, sporting interests, clothing, food and paying off the rent or mortgage. If petrol prices were lower , parents would not be so stressed and overworked. If parents get to over-stressed they could get seriously ill and their suffering family would have to pay even more money. In conclusion, I think that you should definitely take my advice and make a move about lowering the prices of petrol, diesel, E10, unleaded, etc. If petrol prices are lowered we would have a much happier society.
