The cost of living and housing is skyrocketing in Mountain View, and we can't afford to wait. We call upon Mountain View City Council to follow the lead of San Jose, Richmond, and other cities across the country in raising the minimum wage. We ask them to vote in council to 1) implement San Jose's successful model with a wage equal or higher than $10.15, 2) index the wage to the cost of living, and 3) implement the increase by January 1st, 2015.
