Over and over I hear from our residents and those in surrounding towns that we all would love to have a Trader Joe's in our backyard, right here in 07860. Let's try to make it happen! I was about to write a letter on behalf of the community, but figured why not do so after getting the support of hundreds if not thousands of people to go along with that letter. As stated on the Trader Joe's website, "being wanted matters to (them)". Sign the petition and by the end of the month I'll reach out to Trader Joe's requesting that they consider Newton as their next home. Let's do this! Please sign and then SHARE.

The feedback from our residents continues to reveal how deeply this community values the prospect of a store like this in town. I have been gathering the data needed to present a compelling case to the company headquarters. Silence from a large corporation is a common part of the process but it does not deter the goal of showing them the strength of our local interest.

YES PLEASE!! I'm tired of driving to Wayne & Florham Park for our favorite TJ items, or waiting until we visit our daughters in MA! Do they know how many kids from our area go to college in MA? LOTS! That means a ready-made market for their store already exists!
I live next door in Byram. I would definitely shop at a Trader Joe's if it came to Newton. I teach in anther next door town of Sparta and I know many of my fellow teachers and friends from there would also love to shop in a Trader Joe's if it came to Newton!
We need more businesses to call Newton home. Newton is an ideal location for new business, being that it is the County Seat and close to PA and New York States, resulting in plenty of Commuter, and weekend shoppers traffic.
I was a Trader Joe fan since they first opened in Paramus - I lived only 3 miles away - fast forward today we live in Milford PA and I travel 1 1/4 -1 1/2 hrs to go to TJ - it would be a godsend to open a TJ in Newton NJ!!!
I grew up in Newton, moved to Passaic County as a college student and discovered TJ's. The ready availability of reasonably priced health food allowed me to become a vegetarian; I want my home town to have that same opportunity!
Yes! This would be an amazing addition to the community!

i used to live in Passaic County and frequently shopped in the Wayne Trader Joe's. Since moving to Sussex County, I MISS IT!!! My husband and I looked into a possible franchise and in the process found out they are all company-owned stores. Please come to Newton - WE WANT YOU!!!
