Please sign this petition if you do not want refugees in our state of CT until there are proper ways to vet them out like all other immigrants need to go through to gain access into the USA. I have seen first hand many homeless veterans who are struggling to get help from the state. We will not help our own American veterans, yet we will welcome complete strangers into our streets without first making sure they are not a threat? Our children will be in danger and we need to tell Governor Malloy this is not ok.

It is our right as Americans to voice our opinions. And that right is taken away when we are told a certain thing is going to happen whether we like it or not. We should be angry at the process, not so much the topic in discussion.

We the people of Connecticut ask that:

• Senator’s Blumenthal and Murphy withdraw their support of Syrian refugee placement within the United States and Connecticut until there are proper ways to vet them.
• Senator’s Blumenthal and Murphy support an immediate freeze on all immigration into the United States until our borders are secured and policies are implemented that will physically protect the American people.
• Governor Malloy and Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy protect the lives and liberties of the citizens of our state and our country from the threat of ISIS and any other terrorist organization.
