We, the undersigned do hereby formally petition the city of Burnaby to deny use of Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area, located adjacent to Simon Fraser university, to the group of white supremacists known as "Advocares for White Civil Rights", run by Travis Annan (president) and Lee Peacock (vice-president), on the date of March 21st, 2010. We find the "white pride" march that they have planned on this date offensive, as it promotes the well-being of one race above others, and we believe that the organized presence of this group in this park poses a threat to public safety, both on the grounds of their ideology, and the fact that their group is known to include repeated violent offenders. We ask that the city of Burnaby protect the safety of it's citizens by denying this racist organization access to the facility in question, which provides a dangerous level of privacy to a group which have demonstrated their violent hostility towards visible minorities.
