The Austin School District’s Facility Master Plan Task Force will hold two Community Meetings this week to receive public input on the development of the Facility Master Plan. One of the options the task force is considering is closing small schools in Austin.

AISD has recommended closing an academically exemplary school, which is the oldest Public School in Texas, in order to lease the property to a private charter school.
