This explanation is going to be very short and sweet. Caitlyn Jenner, formally Bruce Jenner, now identifies as a woman. Not having a gender change surgery, she is technically still a male. Jenner won several Olympic medals for track and field between 1970 and 1980. He was also MALE athlete of the year in 1976 by the Associated Press. During the period of Jenner's Olympic career, he did legally identify as a male in the body in which he was born, making him qualify (by guidelines) to participate in the men's group and fairly won the medals he earned and the right to keep them.

This petition is to disregard the alternate petition asking that Jenner's Olympic medals be revoked or returned. Those signing this petition are asked not to look at this with person feelings but rather a technicality. From a legal stand point, regardless of personal feelings towards the LGBT community or Trans in general.
