As a fan of this band (at least its early stuff), I think it's sad this album never got pressed on vinyl, and I've seen a lot of other people complain about this, too. This album never got its due -- it's much more than just "Hey Jealousy." C'mon, record company that owns the rights (Geffen/Universal?) -- press this classic 1990s album! We all already have the CD.
This needs to be done! The original CD has pretty good dynamic but is not as good as it could be. Also CDs are 16 bit...
So pretty please, 24/96 master tape transfer and sell the transfer in 24-bit FLAC too!
WIN WIN WIN situation, Universal Records.

Seriously how is this not on vinyl yet? One of the best 90s records ever and I would buy it in a heartbeat if they finally did a proper release.

I completely echo everything said already. This band was (is) great; I grew up with them in the 90's and they were the first band that I really felt was "my band", if that makes any sense. Even a few years later, when I started playing guitar, I didn't realize how influential they were on me. I started because EVH and played/learned along with Maiden and other hard rock/metal bands but when I grew older and started playing other genres I started to subconciously play/write progressions similar to not just this album, but the Gin Blossoms in general. They've been one of the most underrated and silently influential bands of their era and this vinyl pressing would do them some justice. Honestly, someone should consider posting a link to this on their Facebook. I think we could definitely reach the goal, not to mention bring this to the attention to owner of the rights.
