REQUEST TO THE COLORADO DIVISION OF WILDLIFE & THE WILDLIFE COMMISSION: REPEAL THE PROHIBITION OF DOGS AT LON HAGLER & LONE TREE STATE WILDLIFE AREAS
The Colorado Division of Wildlife has instituted a prohibition on dogs at Lone Tree and Lon Hagler State Wildlife Areas effective July 1, 2010. They have done this without community input and without any postings of such ban at said State Wildlife Areas beforehand.
We the undersigned; Sportsman, Anglers, Hunters, Dog Owners, Neighborhood Residents, Wildlife Recreational Users, Birdwatchers, Boaters, and Concerned Citizens call on the Colorado Division of Wildlife and the Wildlife Commission to repeal the prohibition of all dogs recently enacted at Lone Tree and Lon Hagler State Wildlife Areas, and to consider creative alternatives – with input from the all the concerned public - that will more adequately address the off leash aggressive dog complaints.
Please put your City and State in the comment section along with your comment. It's recommended that if you have a fishing or hunting license, include that also.
