Nina Teicholz was included in the Food Policy Panel, at a conference organized by the Consumer Federation of America. This gave the world some chance of seeing correct science being included in our nutritional guidelines. But she has now been thrown off - and replaced with a person from the potato industry. Right.
So let's join to counter this latest chicanery. Our population needs science-based guidelines. Our population needs open scientific debate at the very least. We should demand diversity and unbiased representation. We've all paid for it - we deserve more than this censorship. This rank obfuscation, that seems tailored to protect fraying reputations. And greedy corporate interests.
