We the residents of Paradise and surrounding areas feel the current breed specific legislation (BSL) existing in Animal Control Legislation for the Town of Paradise, specifically Section 2(a) and Section 11, are unjust and unfair.  BSL has been shown not to work.  It does not lower the incidents of dog bites, nor dog attacks in any jurisdiction where it has been implemented.  The only thing it accomplishes is it encourages responsible dog owners to break the law and vilifies breeds that have done nothing to deserve this unfair reputation they have gotten.
