Therapy Dogs for NYU Law
Hey NYU Law! SALDF needs your help! We'd like to start an animal therapy program at the law school. The therapy program would brings a dog or dogs (and maybe cats?) to campus for what ABC calls "unconditional, stress-busting puppy [and kitten] love." Basically, students who need a "time-out" from studying, exams, job interviews and cold calls can take a study break that involves hanging out and playing with some animal companions. They can also mingle with fellow students! Studies show that interacting with animals can lower stress and blood pressure, as well as increase feelings of happiness and well-being. Please sign our petition to ask Dean Revesz to approve such a program! If you have any questions, please email Liz, the chair of SALDF, at evh227@nyu.edu. Think this is the best idea since textbook buy-backs? Pass this petition link to other current NYU Law students! Thanks for your support! NYU SALDF
