Growing up in the Racine and Kenosha, Wisconsin area, Yellow Perch fishing on Lake Michigan was a delightful experience that is vanishing. Future generations of all ages will lose out on the wonderful life satisfying opportunities perch fishing on Lake Michigan has always provided. Not enough is being done to stop this.
Please join us in supporting the efforts to Save Lake Michigan's Yellow Perch from Extinction and restore the great pleasure of perch fishing on our beautiful Lake!
When we reach our goal of 1,000 signatures, we will send them to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and to Wisconsin State Legislators asking that they establish funding a project that will protect and rebuild the Yellow Perch population in Lake Michigan with a focus on the Racine and Kenosha area.
