Built in 1931, the treasured Coliseum cinema is facing complete closure. The Coliseum is an historic Art Deco building and part of the fabric and rich cultural heritage of Porthmadog and the surrounding area. It is also an important part of the local community. The loyal and spirited people of the area united in 1983 to save the cinema. Now it's the turn of a new generation to do the same!

We, the undersigned, believe that Porthmadog’s Coliseum is a vital part of the local community and that it deserves to be restored to its former glory and should be preserved for future generations to come.

Wedi ei adeiladu yn 1931, mae perygl bod ein sinema y Coliseum yn cau am byth. Mae'r Coliseum yn adeilad celfyddydol hanesyddol ac mae'n rhan o wneuthuriad a threftadaeth ddiwylliannol Porthmadog a'r ardal. Mae hefyd yn ran bwysig o'r gymuned leol. Daeth ffyddloniaid grymus eu hysbryd ynghyd yn 1983 i achub y sinema. Dyma gyfle'r genhedlaeth newydd i wneud yr un fath!
