We, the undersigned are concerned that a consultation on the future provision of libraries in the Wigan Borough may result in the closure of Ashton Library. We note that Ashton is the third largest town in the Borough and its library is well used and an asset to the community. We therefore call upon Wigan Council to keep this popular and well used library open.
