We the undersigned ask Maxis/Electronic Arts to port the new SimCity game due out in 2013 to the Linux platform. We point to the success of the Humble Indie Bundle as proof of a market for video games on the Linux platform. On average, Linux customers paid nearly twice as much for the Humble Indie Bundle as Windows customers did; demonstrating a demand for video games on this platform. SimCity 5 represents a landmark occasion for a triple-A title by an outstanding studio to support our preferred operating system. Please take our signatures as proof positive that there is a market for your game on Linux.
