Singapore has a long run history of singapore police force using brutal way while doing their investigation in order to obtain the truth many has come in fear when being interviewed by the officer mostly child which are under the age of 16, when you speaks the truth to the investigation officer the officer would always want you to admit the crime you have never done.

On 26 January 2016 (Tuesday) A 14 year old boy has committed suicide right after he was bailed out from Ang Mo Kio Police Headquarter where he was being arrested in school by 5 plainclothes police officer and was being investigated to a case of molest.

Mdm Teng (Benjamin Mother) claim that he didn't commit the crime but he admitted to it, the 14 years old boy who didn't know his right just admitted to the crime.

According to TOC (The Online Citizen) report the the vice-principal of North-view secondary school declined to be interviewed and sent two staff members to receive our questions. They have yet to receive any answers till date.

But the vice-principal of north view secondary school granted an interview to the state-controlled media (The New Paper)

in the interview the Principal CLAIMS that :

"When the plainclothes police officers came to the school, we were discreet in bringing the student to the office to meet with the police."

He also ensured that the boy was able to finish his meal before he was taken to the police station.

Despite the report, questions remain. Benjamin’s father told TOC he hoped the boy wasn’t summoned to the principal’s office via the school’s PA system.

According to Mr Lim, his son had also not finished lunch when he was called. He was only allowed to return to the canteen with a counsellor, after visiting the principal’s office.

This petition admits to strengthen singapore's child rights which has been clearly indicated in United Nation under the UN Convention to the Rights of the Child (CRC), Section 40, 2(b) that Singapore is a signatory to.

A child which is under the age of 16 need it's basic rights in regards to the following video.
