We the undersigned, object to the proposals to build over 350 new residential properties, supermarket and industrial units on the green fields at Landgate-Bryn near Wigan. We believe that there will be an unacceptable impact on our community’s infrastructure such as schools, medical access and significant increase in traffic problems. This area is of great importance to local residents and its destruction will deprive local people of an area of natural beauty.

We support the campaign to stop the Landgate-Bryn development and call on developers ‘Greenbank’s’ to withdraw their application and Wigan council to oppose the destruction of this green field site.
