Wal-Mart is considering building a new store near the Houston Heights, on a vacant parcel of land south of I-10 near the intersection of Yale Street and Center Street. According the the Houston Chronicle, a development site plan shows that they are planning for a 152,015 square-foot store. Whatever your reason may be for not wanting a Wal-Mart in your area, this petition was created to let Wal-Mart know that we want them to stay away from our neighborhood!
