The SUNY OSWEGO Greek Alumni represent a base of support to the University as well as the ability to offer guidance, networking, financial support and mentoring for the active student members of their respective organizations on campus.

Looking back there is no greater bond than the bond we still know as members of the SUNY OSWEGO Greek Community. Year after year, alumni event after event, one thing remains constant; the strong showing of alumni from the various Greek Organizations. Friendships that have outlasted time, distance and circumstances are drawn back together with an immeasurable bond of brotherhood and sisterhood born of each individual organization. Our pride, traditions and history remain strong.

It is for these reasons and so many others that we support the Greek Alumni Councils effort to reach out to the leadership at Oswego to offer our support and in return have the University work with us to protect one of Oswego’s greatest assets and legacies. We realize young people today are faced with a variety of new challenges and we know these challenges directly impact the University. We are convinced both the Greek Alumni Council and the University have a vested interest in preserving the Greek tradition at Oswego State.

We stand united with our brothers and sisters in the Greek Community and the University to build, guide and improve Greek life at Oswego State. We ask that a meeting be set with the Greek AlumniCouncil as soon as possible to open discussion on our mutual cooperation.
