Support for Florence Klein's H1B
To Whom It May Concern, It has come to our attention that Ms. Florence Klein may have to leave the US due to some mistakes made by her immigration attorney. Ms. Klein filed for a J1 waiver in February 2012, only to find out in June that her attorney had not followed up on it and the waiver was not in process. Her attorney then filed for a H1B on June 18th, 2012, after her J1 expired on June 14th, 2012. We are aware that this might cause some issues with USCIS and are asking USCIS to rush this case due to the fact that Ms. Klein had no knowledge of the fact that things were not progressing appropriately until it was too late. We are anxious that USCIS allows her petition for an H1B to be prioritized and to follow through in a timely matter. Ms. Klein is essential to the French Immersion program in Louisiana and has developed many extra-curricular activities with the community to promote the French culture and language in her free time. It would be a major disappointment to see her leave against her will and as a consequence of someone else's omissions. This would be a great loss for the school and the community where Ms. Klein is strongly appreciated and needed. We are expressing full support to Ms. Florence Klein’s petition for a H1B visa so she can keep her current job at Prairie Elementary and continue her influential and highly beneficial work with her students.
