Texting and driving has become the leading cause of death in teenagers. But we can all make a difference!
~ Appoint a passenger to be the driver's "designated texter".
~ Turn off the cell phone.
~ If not, just turn off the volume!
~ If you are already in a conversation via text message, ask them not to text you - until you are out of the driver's seat.
It's simple, it's easy, and it can save lives!
In signing this contract, I promise:
Never to text while driving.
Never to go online while driving.
Not to be a passenger in a car in which the driver is texting.

The stories shared in the comments section have been both heartbreaking and deeply motivating for me. I am currently working on a way to present these experiences to local officials to show them the real impact of this behavior on our community.

I will nt txt in drive. I will spread the word of the risk of txting and driveing.
צ"ע if signing an online agreement has a חלות נדר/ שבועה. secondly, "Not to be a passenger in a car in which the driver is texting." what exactly are you suposed to do? jump out the window?

my brother got in a bad wreck bc of this so im done with phones in the car. its just not worth it guys.
