Dear Friends, We need your help! The City of West Des Moines is seriously considering the possibility of having cross county trails. This will consist of groomed trails for skate skiing and tracks for classic. Before any funds can be designated, the Parks and Rec Department wants to see some interest in cross county skiing, as to assure that the trails will be utilized. For you veteran skiers out there, you know how exciting this could be to have groomed trails right in our back yards! For those of you who don't cross county ski, think of how exciting it would be to learn! If you are a cyclist or triathlete, there is no better way to train through the winter. And, it's a blast for the whole family to enjoy. So, please play your part to help create yet another fun outdoor activity for Greater Des Moines by signing our petition. Thank you and God Bless.
