We, the undersigned, having submitted our concerns regarding Toronto Conference's review of our minister, the Reverend Gretta Vosper, in which we explicitly noted the lack of deference given the covenantal relationship we have with her and Toronto Southeast Presbytery; we hereby further submit that we be provided the right to attend and to speak at the review planned for June 29, 2016. It is our understanding that the review committee is comprised of twenty-four members with four presenting questions. We submit that the Chair of our Board, Randy Bowes, be present at the review and that he be provided the right to speak. This is in keeping with the policies regarding the review of ministry personnel as found in the Pastoral Charge and Ministry Personnel Reviews procedures.

I fully support Rev Gretta Vosper, her spiritual direction and her work with Westhill United. Gretta and Westhill United have a convenant as is customary in the United Church. Therefore they should be allowed to move through this review process in its entirety together.
Having known Gretta Vosper personally since 2005, visited her in Canada, and invited her to Australia in 2010 I fully support her voice within the church. I also support the call for her congregation to be both represented and given a voice during the review process
I am uncomfortable with this whole situation. There seems to be an awful lot of power, privilege and fascism at play. If this isn't the case, then following the rules of review and allowing the chair of the board to attend and speak seems like a reasonably small gesture of goodwill...
As a member of this congregation and former Chair of the Official Board who fully supports Gretta, we are best suited to determine Gretta's effectiveness and suitability - it is only just that our representative be allowed the opportunity to speak during the hearing.
It seems only right and logical that the community with whom Gretta entered into a covenant relationship, namely West Hill United, be asked to speak as to her "fitness" for ministry. They are best suited, having had the most direct experience of her ministry.
I very much support Rev. Vosper's views of promoting a healthy lifestyle and being a better member of the community rather than the biblical outdated drivel that the Church attempts to brainwash into people every day all over the world.
Wanting to encourage not only Gretta but all those that wind up heretical in the eyes of the 'establishment' to keep on keeping on making the Christ religion or Christ way relevant to the 21stC mind.

The United Church roots are in community. Fit with the community a Minister works work is the most important consideration. West Hill congregation, the community, is at the heart of her ministry and in the spirit and writings of the UC is essential to be at this table.
