To SCEE, SCEA, SCEJ, Level-5 Inc, D3 Publisher Inc, all parties concerned and part of White Knight Chronicles II. The community of White Knight Chronicles II is petitioning for the release of the remaining game content, that which has been released to the Japanese version of the game, for North American and European versions of the game.

On May 3, 2012, this statement was provided to the community via the White Knight Chronicles II Facebook page: "Thank you for your patience. Many of you have been asking about additional game content. We apologize for the delay in our response however we needed time to determine if these items were available to the North American market. Unfortunately, we will not be able to release any additional content, which includes guilds, quests, patches, DLC, etc in North America. That content was created exclusively for the Japanese game. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for supporting White Knight Chronicles II." (Source: http://www.facebook.com/WhiteKnightChroniclesII). Many of us were confused by this message, as guilds had already been added to the game by that time. On November 30, 2011, European players of the game had four knight weapons and a shield made available for purchase via the Playstation store. These DLC items were taken out of the store a week later, which showed us that content exists that is compatible with our games, but is not being released.

A recent independent investigation published on the Internet has revealed that the content in question, originally thought to be exclusive to the Japanese version of the game, is present in both the North American and European versions of the game. This video shows the results of the investigation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnAJ83cQA8A&feature=youtu.be We are aware of the following: Avatar Story 1-10 quests are on the disc, quests with a guild rank requirement of 40 are on the disc, and there is a new location accessible on the map. Your customers deserve the truth and deserve what they paid for. We should not be forced to hack into the disc to make you release content that is already there.

Your customers in the North American and European market want treatment equal to the Japanese market. We, the White Knight Chronicles II community, submit this petition for the sole purpose that the relevant parties involved complete this content and release it for North American and European versions of the game.
