114 Diban Avenue, Elm Park - Change of Use from C3(a) Residential to C1 Air Bnb - Planning Objection
We, the residents of Elm Park, strongly object to the proposed plans of 114 Diban Avenue - Change of Use from C3(a) Residential to C1 Air Bnb (Application No. P1517.24).
Despite the owner of the property unlawfully operating this AirBnb since May 2024 as a 7 BEDROOM property hosting up to 14 GUESTS, granting this application will continue to allow significant disruption to our quiet neighbourhood.
The ongoing issues include:
- Excessive Noise Pollution: Frequent parties and gatherings disrupting the peace.
- Environmental Health Concerns: Inadequate waste disposal plans and increased littering affecting the area.
- Safety Concerns: The influx of strangers raising concerns about the safety and security of the community.
- Traffic and Parking Issues: Cars blocking the road due to increased parking/traffic from the Airbnb guests.
We urge the Local Council/ Planning Control to reject this application and to put a stop to the ongoing, detrimental issues caused by this Airbnb, which local residents have already endured for months.
