20 Cane Corso Seized in Lorain OH. Judge Mihok do not grant custody to Cornelius Charlton or Lauren Souris

We as a community are asking Judge Mihok in the Lorain Cane Corso case to Not Grant custody of the 21 dogs seized back to Cornelius Charlton and Lauren Souris (Kevlar Kennels) or anyone associated with them.
20 Cane Corso and a Fila were seized in Lorain OH in July 2018. Temporary custody was granted to Doc Broz with Lorain PD.
Must Love Corsos a Corso rescue has stepped up as a breed specific rescue to help with these dogs.
We hope Judge Mihok sees it is not in any of the dogs best interest to be handed back to Cornelius and Lauren. The conditions these animals were kept in is deplorable. His use of these animals for pure profit is deplorable. He has been charged previously with running a kennel without a license also.
We hope you agree with us and not grant custody back to them. We urge you to do what is in the best interest for these animals.

Please do NOT send these poor dogs back to that “kennel”. It would be like sending a severely abused child back to his or her abusive parents. Protect these dogs so that they may have the chance they deserve to each become part of a family in a loving home.
I’ve met these dogs, and they have the potential to be good family animals. They will have no chance if returned to the owner or related person, as the value those individuals placed on their lives was obvious in the conditions they were kept in.
Please, rule in favor of the Corsos going into a rescue where they will be able to be placed in homes with loving people and run in the open air and green grass rather than live crated and used as breeding machines their entire life.
President, Dogue de Bordeaux Society of America We had a similar situation in NY last year with 22 starving and half frozen Bordeaux while the owner socialized at Westminster. The judge came through for us. How can a judge in Ohio, with Goddard's Law not take action??
Please do not grant custody of these dogs back to the money hungry back yard breeder. His actions show his only concern is profiting from these dogs. Not their well being. Do what’s right! Let must love Corso and Doc Broz handle it.

As having a mom who takes in abused and neglected dogs like this, these people should not be allowed to have the dogs back. Give them to families who will actually love and care for them like they are family. Those dogs deserve so much better than the peole they were with.
