I have shared this letter with all the other LCs here for the Chapter from North America. The Chapter has begun wonderfully – full of energy, openness, realism, honesty, hope... And our Spiritual Exercises Retreat leading up to the Chapter was a powerful blessing. I have no doubt at all that the powerful and surprising grace we are experiencing is due in large part to all the prayers that people have been offering for us.

I appreciate sincerely your prayers and your charity towards the Legion and each one of us. I firmly believe that prayer is the solid foundation on which we can build a real work of God. I suppose that you cannot forward this to everybody, but in case you can, please tell them that I also pray for them and thank them very much.
